An ultra-high-net-worth international family is seeking a professional and highly educated full-time nanny to care for their 17-month-old son. The family, with roots in the U.S. and Turkey, is based primarily in Istanbul but travels frequently between residences in Istanbul and Los Angeles. They are looking for an experienced nanny who brings both warmth and educational structure to their child's daily life and who can travel seamlessly with the family.

Location: Istanbul, Turkey (with international travel)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Live-In Preferred
Salary: $150,000 USD Gross per year (hourly rate: $40 USD Gross)
Schedule: Up to 72 hours/week (8am–8pm, 6 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Full care of a bright and curious 17-month-old boy

• Providing a developmentally focused, stimulating daily routine

• Planning and facilitating educational activities tailored to early learning milestones

• Engaging the child in rich language exposure, play, reading, and creative exploration

• Working collaboratively with parents while taking initiative in the day-to-day care

• Travelling internationally with the family as needed

• No housekeeping or cooking duties – full focus on childcare and learning

Schedule & Compensation:

• Preferred hours: 8am–8pm, 6 days per week (up to 72 hours/week)

• Salary: $150,000 USD Gross per year, paid hourly at $40 gross/hour (equivalent to approx. £112,781 GBP gross / €131,578 EUR gross)

• Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom will be provided within the family’s Istanbul home and when travelling.

Candidate Requirements:

• Native-level English speaker with perfect spoken and written English

• Strong educational background – former preschool or early childhood teacher preferred

• Experience caring for toddlers and a deep understanding of early childhood development

• Warm, engaging, and professional demeanour

• Confident traveller, comfortable moving between locations with the family

• An American or British passport holder would be a plus.

• This position involves a number of family bases and suits a self-employed candidate.
